No, Dr. Judy is not vegan. Veganism is an ethical stance that avoids the use or consumption of all animal products for ethical reasons. Although Dr. Judy did follow a 100% vegan diet for many years, she now eats fish on occasion. Dr. Judy is predominately whole food plant based and for health reasons. 

Dr. Judy advocates for a whole food plant based diet, not a vegan diet. A vegan diet can be unhealthy since it contains processed foods. For example, french fries and oreos are vegan. However, a whole food plant based diet avoids processed food, junk food, and added sugars. The evidence shows that fish and lean white meat on occasion can be a part of a healthy diet. Dr. Judy does not believe that everyone in the entire world has to follow a 100% plant based diet.
